The Rubik’s Cube has to be one of the most famous puzzles to have ever been invented leading to numerous attempts to solve it in the shortest time possible. It was the creation of Erno Rubik who sat down and personally worked out all of the different options and possibilities for the cube. So, with that in mind, you would think that as he must have known the answer that it would have led to him being the best at solving it, well that’s not actually correct.
Instead, it is known that after initially creating the puzzle, it took Erno Rubik one month to get to the point where he had actually been able to solve it. Now, if that sounds as if it is a long time then it is, but just to make matters worse we can look at what the current world record is for solving the Rubik’s Cube. Currently it stands at just over 5 seconds, which is seriously impressive and it kind of puts what Rubik himself was able to do into some kind of perspective.
