Being caught out by a telemarketer has to be one of the most annoying things that can happen to us as humans. How often do you just put down the phone simply because you cannot be bothered in dealing with them and have no desire to even utter a single word?
Well, a man in the United Kingdom came up with a completely different way of tackling this particular problem even though his method was taking things to the extreme. To be honest, you might not want to follow his lead, but if you do then it is still not going to hurt.
So, what did he do? Well, he changed his name. Nothing different or elaborate there we hear you say, but it was how he changed his name that made this out to be completely different.
The man in question went by the name Mr Price. By the time he was finished, he was then called Mr Tim Pppppppprice for the sole reason that he figured telemarketers would not want to sit there on the other end of the call and make themselves sound a bit crazy when trying to say his name. It is unknown how effective it was as a method, but you have to give him some credit for at least attempting something completely different as a potential resolution for an extremely annoying problem.
