The problem with plastic bottles is that they are everywhere. If you look at landfill, each one is full of these bottles as they have become such a mainstay of our lives.

However, even though they are inexpensive to produce and therefore make it cheaper for us to buy the contents within the bottles, there is still a price to pay. That price is connected to what happens if we do not look at trying to recycle as much as possible because it can end up being a blight on our landscape for longer than you would imagine.

Due to the structure of the plastic that is used in the bottle, it is not the kind of thing that can be broken down very quickly by nature doing its own thing. In fact, it has been calculated that the plastic bottles we are using today could take as long as 500 years for them to decompose naturally, and with the growing number of them being used, that is going to lead to a major problem.

So, when you are using plastic bottles, try to recycle them, or we will get to a point where we cannot see what we are doing because of being surrounded by massive heaps of these bottles.
