A hamster is pretty cute, and that ability to be cute goes up even higher when you see it on its wheel running for its absolute life. You probably sit there and stare at it and are amazed at how fast it can go, but what about the distance that it can travel?
Well, on average, your small and furry friend is going to end up running the equivalent of eight miles on that wheel in a single night. Just think about that huge distance for a moment which is then made even more impressive when you factor in the overall size of your hamster. This small animal is running such an impressive distance that we would need to run several times that distance for our own equivalent and to do so night after night.
