Forty years ago, there were just 89 breweries in the United States. Today, there are over 2,500 breweries. The competition is more existent than ever. Craft beer has spread from the West Coast to all over the US, and beers like Keystone and Dogfish Head 90 Minute can be found anywhere. Cheap, widely-distributed beers are still amongst the most popular beers in the United States this year, with Bud Light, Coors Light, Miller Lite, and Budweiser topping the list of bestsellers.
