OK, so we all know that us humans are pretty cool with the range of things that we are capable of doing, but are you aware of just how rare we are when it comes to certain things?
Take laughter as an example. Out of all of the different species of animals that exist in the world, us humans are one of only three species in existence that have the ability to laugh. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the chimpanzee is another of the three species, thanks to us being related to them. The third and final option is the rat.
Quite why this is the case is something that science has not yet managed to unpick. At the same time, it is impressive that we can laugh at animals knowing full well that they are unable to do the same in return when they spot us doing something crazy or stupid.
