Every man and his dog know that Neil Armstrong was the first man to set foot on the moon. A lot of people are also aware that Buzz Aldrin joined him soon after.
But then, even though Armstrong could take all of the accolades, it seems that good old Buzz was able to still become the first individual to do something on the moon—even though it may not have been what he had expected to do when approaching the moon.
It is believed that Buzz Aldrin became the first human being to have a pee on the moon. He did this almost as soon as he set foot on the surface of the moon, but clearly, he did it in his spacesuit rather than in the conventional manner. Even so, you have to admit that it is a pretty cool claim to fame.
