Have you ever heard the story of the woman in the flying bathtub? If not, then even though it might not be as obvious as you would think, this is something that did indeed happen to a 75-year-old woman in East Texas.
Upon hearing that a tornado was approaching, Charlesetta Williams took it upon herself to climb into her bathtub to protect herself when she realized that she was probably on for a direct hit. She was more accurate than she expected as the tornado took the roof off her house, lifted her bathtub up in the air, with her still in it of course, and then deposited her in the woods.
In other words, she had been in a flying bathtub. Her decision to climb inside did end up being a wise one, as it is stated that she was completely unharmed even though she would have hardly wanted to go ahead and repeat that particular journey any time soon.
