When it comes to a shopping experience in the UK that is famous around the world, then heading off to Harrods in London is the place to go. However, the only problem that you will tend to face is the way in which it appears to be packed with people simply wishing to have the experience of being there even if they have no intention of buying anything.
To be honest, it is so busy that you would struggle to really absorb what is available, but that never used to be a problem for one person in particular.
So, who is that person? Well, it can only be the Queen herself because it used to be the case that Harrods would close its doors for one day to allow the Queen to go ahead and do her Christmas shopping in peace. Of course, there were also security issues to contend with, which ultimately led to them closing their doors, but it would certainly make life a whole lot easier if we were all given that honor whenever we wished to do some shopping.
