Who says criminals don’t have morals? In August 2008, several men broke into a house in North Yorkshire, England. Amongst the items they stole was a laptop, on which they soon found images that they suspected were child pornography. The criminals turned themselves in and brought the laptop to the police, which led to the conviction of Richard Coverdale. Coverdale had 78 illegal files—65 movies, and 13 images—on the computer. He admitted to talking to a 14-year-old girl in an online chatroom and was sentences to three and a half years in jail. The detective on the case praised the burglars for having a conscience and turning in Richard Coverdale.
