The idea of us humans picking up an STD is never nice to contemplate, but if you believed that it was only us that were able to get them, then think again. However, if we did ask you which animal you would think was also able to pick up an STD, most people would probably go along the lines of another ape due to us being very close in nature, and that would be the sensible option.
But then, you would be wrong.
Instead, it is the honeybee that can also go ahead and pick up an STD, and you would have probably sat there for days before you eventually picked the humble bee. Of course, it should not put you off your honey, but it makes you wonder what else those bees are getting up to if they are able to spread this kind of disease throughout their colony.
