Now, you can forgive yourself if you have never heard of North Sentinal Island because that is probably for the best. However, there are several curious things about this island that may be able to grab your attention.
The island is off the coast of India in the Bay of Bengal and it has largely remained untouched by human hands aside from the indigenous tribe that lives there. Not only have they never been colonized, but they are known to be very hostile and against the idea of interaction with the outside world. They have also been photographed and filmed trying to fire bows and arrows at aircraft that gets too close.
However, there have been some interactions and it has led to some individuals being taken off the island, but that is something that has never really been met with any success. For some strange and unknown reason, the individuals that have been taken off the island have then died after contracting some strange and unknown disease if they are not returned to the island. Somehow, if they are taken back to their home, then the mystery illness seems to ease somewhat and they manage to pull through.
Now, you have to admit that the entire thing is very weird.
