The death of any child is horrible, especially when it can be so easily avoided in most cases. However, what do you think is responsible for the death of over 2000 children each and every single day equating to over 750,000 over the course of a year?

You probably think about malaria or even AIDS, but you may be surprised to hear that it is something that we all suffer from at some point in our life, diarrhea.

Yep, diarrhea is the cause of all of those deaths, and it means that on a daily basis it kills more children than measles, malaria and AIDS combined, which is rather scary in itself. The sad part is that it is caused by poor hygiene or sanitation, which is something that can be fixed and would then lead to all of these children being saved and able to go on to live a normal and happy life.
